| PAY MY RENT Below are multiple ways for you to pay your rent. RENT IS DUE ON THE 1ST AND LATE ON THE 6TH OF EACH MONTH. There is a $50 late fee for any rent paid after the 5th. You must contact me if your rent will be late for any reason. Option 1 : Pay at the Office (1723 Creighton Ave SE, Decatur, AL 35601). Get a money order and drop it off RENT mail slot. DO NOT leave it in one of the red info boxes or in the small black mailbox attached to the post. Make sure and sign Money Order and address it to "ASCEND" or "NELSON RENTALS" depending on your lease. Option 2 : Autopay. This is probably the easiest way to pay your rent, and there is no charge for Direct Deposit! Email Me with your name, address, and date that you want to set up to automatically pull from your checking account each money (ex "the 1st of each month"). Attach a copy of a check from your checking account with the word "VOID" written across the front of the check. It may take us up to 2 weeks to get this set up, and you will be responsible for getting your rent paid until then. After it is set up, your rent will automatically be deducted from your checking account each month. Option 3 : Direct Deposit. We will provide you with our account information that you will need to set us up on your Bill Pay. This gives you control of exactly when the rent payment goes out, but you may have to remember to login to your Bank and Bill Pay your rent each month. Option 4 : VENMO. VENMO is one of the many payment processors that we accept for payment of rent. With any payment processor, we strongly suggest that you send $1 first and confirm that we received the $1 payment. You MUST select the option in which VENMO does not charge a fee. If charged a fee from VENMO, you will be responsible for paying the fee. Our VENMO user info is @Bill-Nelson-60 Option 5 : CASHAPP. CASHAPP is another payment processor that we accept for payment of rent. With any payment processor, we strongly suggest that you send $1 first and confirm that we received the $1 payment.
